Week 24 - Leaving Salinas

Family and Friends!!!!!

Well as you all know transfers were Yesterday and I have some sad news, some happy news, and some amazing news!!!!
Happy News: Elder Robinson is coming to Salinas!

Sad News: I will not be District Leader and I will not see Elder Robinson!

Amazing News: I will be going to Pontezuela it is basically in Carolina.

My new companion is Elder Ramirez and I don't know who that is, I guess that happens when you are old in the mission you don't know anyone anymore.

I am sad to leave Salinas. it has been really good here and it feels a lot like home here. the weather is just right. I look forward to a new adventure in Pontezuela!

This last week I got sick but it passed by like normal and I feel better than ever!

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that graduated this past week or these coming weeks!

Thank you everyone for the Birthday wishes it was a great day!

My birthday started different, first off my own companion forgot that it was my Birthday! Its okay I forgave him! But then we had a meeting with President Boucher, it was a good meeting, it was about the new rules about clothes for the missionaries! The missionaries in about half of the world can now use hats and Sunglasses as they are out working! That is awesome!

After the meeting we went to Hermana de Jesus and surprisingly it was a surprise birthday party for me, I still have no Idea how you did that mom but thank you so much!!!!! We had Pizza and Cake!!!! It was a great day!!!!!

Week 19 in Juncos

Wow this week went by slow for me here but it's all great. I love it here in Juncos. it is awesome here.

This week it was great. transfers are never easy. trying to get to know how others work is hard and it takes a week but I know that we will get through everything.

I am so grateful for all that I have. I am grateful for all the many different people that have helped me become the person that I have become.

I love you all so much and am so grateful for this gospel in my life and all that it has done for me. I know that God has a unique plan for everyone of us and has a purpose for all of us.

This week was hard for me. I really got to like Elder Stinchfield but he was here for one transfer to help me with that baptism and he has moved on to bigger and better things.

I know that God is with me always here with me all I have to do is to pray and ask for his help.

I love you all so much and I miss you all so much.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes I am so grateful for this opportunity to spend it out here in Juncos Puerto Rico.

Questions and Answers:

How have things been going for you?

Things are great over here I love Juncos and I am so grateful for this opportunity to be here for 6 more weeks.

What have you been doing?

We have been doing a lot of contacting and trying to find more people.

Who have you been teaching?

We have been teaching a lot of different people mostly contacts but we have C still and he is progressing.

Have you found anyone new to teach?

We have found a guy named B he is cool. he is from Michigan and he is interested in learning more.

Have you been able to visit with D?

No we have not been able to visit D. She is always busy but we will get in one of these times.

How's your new companion? Where's he from? How long has he been out? How's his Spanish? Do you get along? What do you like about him?

Elder Fox is really cool he is such a great guy he has a really strong testimony and loves to work. He is from Utah. He has been out for almost 9 months. His Spanish is great and he is really helping me with my Spanish. Yes we get along great. we are always joking around as we walk. What I like about him is that he is funny and serious all in one.

Elder Moss and Elder Fox

Now onto my weekly letter.

I want to apologize for the short letter last week. But I wanted to start off this letter with thanking my mom for everything she has done for me.

Mom I love you so much and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to call you mom, you mean the world to me and I couldn't have asked for a better mother in the world.

Grandma I also wanted to thank you for everything that you have done for em and all you love you have shown me. I love you so much and I miss you.

I also want to thank all of my aunts because you ladies have basically been another mother to me and have really helped me become the man I am today. I love you all and I am grateful for all of you.

I don't know where I would be with out these amazing ladies in my life.

Ok now onto my letter about my work:

This past week was great we got a new investigator named C.

C is a referral from a member and he believes in nothing. But its ok. I am ready for this I am so grateful for this opportunity to be able to teach him and work with him.

D: We called her up and she said this past week wasn't good but she said we could come sometime this week. I am excited to meet her.

M is still doing good and he is really interested in the gospel.

This past week we had a conference with Elder Cornish from the Seventy. I got to shake his hand too ;) I love the mission life!

But he talked to us about how to work with members better and how to use them in our teaching. He is a great speaker and he gives great analogies!

This conference was also our Zone Conference and we always celebrate birthdays with a specific time frame and guess what mine was one of them.

This is what President and Sister Boucher gave me for my birthday!!!!!

I love you all so much and miss you all.
