Week 11 in Ponce 2

Me in my suit
Family and Friends

What a week!!!! I love it here in Ponce!!!! I am learning so much and we are trying to improve as missionaries.
This week we really focused on how we can get the right members to help us with our investigators. This took a lot of praying and actually fasting. But we found them!!!!!!

It was so cool so first off we have...

M and S  - and they are rocking it they are doing everything now it was so cool first off Elder Fox and Elder Lopez had a Family Home evening thing with some of there investigators and some members and so they called us up and asked us if they could invite them so Elder Robinson and I talked about it and said go for it, they invited them and it helped M so much he really wants to get baptized. After this the next day there was an activity for our ward and the member asked us for their number to invite them and so they both showed up to the activity and really enjoyed it and are making a lot of friends, after this there was actually another activity for the stake and M showed up (S was going to come but there was an emergency at work) so M got talking to the Stake President and made friends with him and just went and enjoyed everyone's company. The next day was Sunday and M and S both showed up at church!!!!!!!! It was awesome they participate in the classes its so cool to see the ward help us. Later that night we had a lesson with them and we went to a members house and he is a Sealer in the Temple in the Dominican Republic temple and it just so happened that we were talking about Marriage, Temples and Priesthood. They really helped us and you could just feel the Spirit so strong in that house.

Next we have a sister named M and boy did the Spirit really tell us who to use. We were sitting in her house and we were talking and all of a sudden 7 gun shots went off and M started to freak out because she didn't know where her son was, she got a hold of him on the phone and so the member stood up gave her a big hug and sat down with her and so M had her face in her hands and was crying so the member looked at me and said I am going to say a prayer, after the prayer we just sat and listened to the Spirit and I got the Impression to Sing "Abide with me Tis Eventide" and in the Second verse it talks about how, if we walk with the Savior, He will give us peace in our lives. M really liked the song after this we shared with her our testimonies and the member gave her her number and told her to call her whenever she need help with anything. After the lesson we asked M to say the Closing prayer and in her prayer she said "thank you God for giving me my new friend and for protecting my son." That was one of the most powerful lessons I have been in here in my mission, I am so grateful for the Spirit and the way it helped us to have a member in that lesson.

Lastly we have P and L and family and things aren't looking so good. they aren't reading and they are keeping any of there commitments. We have asked them to come to Church and every week they say Yes but then Sunday comes a long and we give them a call and none of them answer their Phone so we always pass by their house and see what is going and how come they didn't come to church and for 3 weeks in a row they have told us that they are having car problems and they can't make it, but the sad part about all of this is that we see them driving in their car that same day. But we are just showing love for them and really try to find out what we can do to help them. We have had different members invite them even and they just don't show up.

This is what happened this week I am so grateful for this Gospel and all that it has done for me. I know that the Lord is watching out for me. I can really testify now that Prayer and Fasting really help when trying to get the right answers!!!!

I love you all and I am grateful for all that you guys do for me.

There has been a lot of rain here and it is SOOOOO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

Ponce: Week 8

Family I love you so much!!!!!

This week was great and bad, we are getting a lot of things taken care of but also we are loosing people.

First off

My Favorite talk from Conference was from Henry B Eyring's talk from Sunday Morning I had some questions about The Holy Ghost and receiving answers and Elder Fox told me to go to Conference with my questions and I did and he spoke exactly what I need to hear and it really helped me.

I also really liked Devin G Durrant's talk and I have actually picked my Scripture and I will be Ponderizing Alma 42:31 I really like this scripture!!!!!

3 New Apostles what the HECK!!!!! Saturday Morning I called that Ronald A Rasband would be called to be an Apostle don't ask me why I did, I just did!!!!!

I love Conference so much it always helps me to grow to be a better person!!!

Now on to our week!

We are doing good. we are struggling with Y. she was doing so good and then she told us she didn't want this anymore and she was done but I was able to talk to her and get another lesson with her so we taught her about how if she had problems with anything that she could come to Conference and she really said ok she will come. Sadly she never came instead she was moving all of her stuff because she was getting kicked out of her house, I believe right now she just moved back in with her boyfriend, I feel as if I messed up or it just isn't her time. She didn't give us her new address but she is still in our area so we are going to have some fun contacting her new area and we will find her because I know this is what she needs.

On the bright side of our week we have M and S and they are really doing good. S has given up Coffee and M has given up smoking and they are starting the papers for their weeding!!! We have them planned to get baptized on the 24th of this month!!!!! M and S both showed up to Conference Saturday and they loved it. S asked where she could watch and or listen to them again. Then M showed up to the Priesthood Session and really liked it.

This week I learned that Elder Robinson is teaching me more than I can ever teach him.

Also the Lord has really heard my prayers!!!! I was having a fear to talk to people for a long time and now I don't have any fear and I am talking to everyone I see and I couldn't be more Happier.

I love you so much and thank you again for everything.

Week 5 in Cabo Rojo

Well my time is flying by I have been in Cabo Rojo for 5 weeks now that is so weird. Transfers are this next week and there is no saying what could happen it is very possible I could be leaving Cabo Rojo but it is very possible I could be training a new missionary here in Cabo Rojo I will let you know next week what happens. As for this week.

It was another hard week we were supposed to have 3 baptisms but all three fell through but I know that in some time these kids will get baptized it may not be with me or Elder Noble but I know that they will get baptized. Additional information about the baptisms from a different email: They didn't happen because we couldn't get an interview and their mom didn't have a free day this weekend.

I am so grateful for all that I have been blessed with especially the Book of Mormon

Right now I am reading it again but this time it is only in Spanish and it is really helping me with my spanish. This week we had the opportunity to have a Reunión de la misión (Meeting of the Mission). Este fue bien chevere (this was really cool) sorry my Spanish kicked in for a second. But this meeting was really cool we got to share our testimonies about the Book of Mormon, and boy were there a lot of missionaries that wanted to share their testimonies. Additional information about the Reunión de la misión from a different email: I got to see my whole group from the MTC yesterday and all but three of us shared our testimonies and it is weird to hear how different we all speak the language after 8 months (that is today 8 months) it was really cool to see everyone.

[Because we don't speak Spanish,  I put his testimony into Google Translate - It's a beautiful testimony...]

I want to testify about the Book of Mormon, I know that this book is the word of God, I know this book is here to help us in our lives and this book is here to teach us not become like the people with their hearts hardened . This book is my favorite book. I know this Church is true, I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, I know Thomas S Monson is our prophet today and was calling for help at this time. I love family. I miss her so much.

Week 22 in Juncos

Elders Blaine, Fox, and Moss
This week was great I am so sorry for such a short letter last week I ran out of time. I had to get an Elder to the doctors office for an appointment. He is doing great. We had a lot happen this week. We are always finding new people to teach.

I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve me Brother, Savior, and My Father in Heaven. I know that this isn't the easiest thing to be doing but I know that it is the right thing to do.

I love this work and all that it has done for me. Because of this work my mom is a member of this gospel and I want to help everyone to be able to have the same opportunity. I am so grateful for this opportunity to be here in Puerto Rico because the Lord needs me here to help these people.

I just want to share with you my testimony and why I know this gospel is true.

I know that with all my heart that the Savior came and established his gospel on the Earth for us and that because of him we all can live again and become like him. We can receive his image in our countances (sorry for my spelling) I know that we were all here to be tested and tried and that this was not meant to be easy. I know that we will all face challenges in our lives and that the Lord will protect and help us through everything.

We are doing great always talking to everyone and sharing the message with everyone that we see.

I know that this message will bless the lives of many.

People here all believe in Christ and all he has done for us.

I love you all and am so grateful for all that you guys do for me.

Love Elder Musgo

Oh and the dog bite was nothing really I promise it is all good here and I am fine.
I am on Helaman 10 now - almost done with the Book of Mormon.

Wow this week went by slow for me here but it's all great. I love it here in Juncos. it is awesome here.

This week it was great. transfers are never easy. trying to get to know how others work is hard and it takes a week but I know that we will get through everything.

I am so grateful for all that I have. I am grateful for all the many different people that have helped me become the person that I have become.

I love you all so much and am so grateful for this gospel in my life and all that it has done for me. I know that God has a unique plan for everyone of us and has a purpose for all of us.

This week was hard for me. I really got to like Elder Stinchfield but he was here for one transfer to help me with that baptism and he has moved on to bigger and better things.

I know that God is with me always here with me all I have to do is to pray and ask for his help.

I love you all so much and I miss you all so much.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes I am so grateful for this opportunity to spend it out here in Juncos Puerto Rico.
