Week 19 in Juncos

Wow this week went by slow for me here but it's all great. I love it here in Juncos. it is awesome here.

This week it was great. transfers are never easy. trying to get to know how others work is hard and it takes a week but I know that we will get through everything.

I am so grateful for all that I have. I am grateful for all the many different people that have helped me become the person that I have become.

I love you all so much and am so grateful for this gospel in my life and all that it has done for me. I know that God has a unique plan for everyone of us and has a purpose for all of us.

This week was hard for me. I really got to like Elder Stinchfield but he was here for one transfer to help me with that baptism and he has moved on to bigger and better things.

I know that God is with me always here with me all I have to do is to pray and ask for his help.

I love you all so much and I miss you all so much.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes I am so grateful for this opportunity to spend it out here in Juncos Puerto Rico.

Now onto my weekly letter.

I want to apologize for the short letter last week. But I wanted to start off this letter with thanking my mom for everything she has done for me.

Mom I love you so much and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to call you mom, you mean the world to me and I couldn't have asked for a better mother in the world.

Grandma I also wanted to thank you for everything that you have done for em and all you love you have shown me. I love you so much and I miss you.

I also want to thank all of my aunts because you ladies have basically been another mother to me and have really helped me become the man I am today. I love you all and I am grateful for all of you.

I don't know where I would be with out these amazing ladies in my life.

Ok now onto my letter about my work:

This past week was great we got a new investigator named C.

C is a referral from a member and he believes in nothing. But its ok. I am ready for this I am so grateful for this opportunity to be able to teach him and work with him.

D: We called her up and she said this past week wasn't good but she said we could come sometime this week. I am excited to meet her.

M is still doing good and he is really interested in the gospel.

This past week we had a conference with Elder Cornish from the Seventy. I got to shake his hand too ;) I love the mission life!

But he talked to us about how to work with members better and how to use them in our teaching. He is a great speaker and he gives great analogies!

This conference was also our Zone Conference and we always celebrate birthdays with a specific time frame and guess what mine was one of them.

This is what President and Sister Boucher gave me for my birthday!!!!!

I love you all so much and miss you all.

Post Mother's Day Skype Email! Week 17 in Juncos

I really wanted to say how much I love you guys and how happy I was to see you guys.

I got to see my whole family on Mother's Day - including my cousin serving in Costa Rica.

Here is the picture from our baptism it was such a great day!!!!

I really don't have much to say this week. I was so happy to see you guys and I love you all.

I do want to share my testimony with you though!!!!!

I know that this gospel is true and I know that we are all called of God. I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to be here in Puerto Rico. I know that Thomas S Monson is a true Prophet, I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and he translated the Book of Mormon. I know that God gave us families for a reason. He gave us families to help and support us and to always be there when we really need someone to talk to.

I love you all and I am so sorry there isn't much here but I just want you guys to know I love you all and miss you.

Week 16 in Juncos

This week was great!!!!!!!

A lot has happened!!!

First off the baptism got pushed back to this week I know he is ready for this and will be a great member into our ward here in Juncos. I can't believe how fast time flies by I have just hit 5 months yesterday, I almost have a sisters mission left that is so weird. [For those of you who don't know what that means, sister missionaries serve for 18 months and Elder Moss has 19 months left!]

Yesterday was fast Sunday and so all four of the missionaries got up to bear their testimonies it was awesome. I could really feel the spirit. I also was told by a lot of the members that my Spanish has gotten so much better since the first time they all saw me. I know that Heavenly Father has really helped me to understand this language to help these people.

So on to our investigators:

M: We haven't been able to teach him lately but we know that we will find him again.

D: She is a referral we received and she lives in Las Piedras. I get to drive to find her ;)  but we showed up at her house and she wasn't there but her husband was, his name is O and he gave us her cell phone number and told us to give her a call and set up an appointment. He seemed really nice and told to come back whenever we are in Las Piedras and need a drink or something we can just stop by and they will be there to help us out.

That's all of them besides P but he is being baptized this week and is doing great!!!

This week I had some fun at a park and you will see in pictures.

Oh and that package from the young women was amazing I loved everything in it I especially loved the pillow case I use it all the time thank you young women for everything I loved it.

Mom your package was amazing also I love the contacts and the sweatshirt!!!!

I love you all and miss you all.

I can't wait until Sunday when I can talk to you guys on Skype!!!!!

I hope you guys have a great week

Love,

Elder Musgo
