What a week!!!!!
First off this week was transfers........
Good News I am staying here in Pontezuela.
Sad News Elder Lopez is heading to Toa Baja.
Happy News my new companion is Elder Guare, he is from Guatemala also!!!! I was his district leader when he was in Arroyo!!!!!
But
this week was better for us. We were able to find this really cool guy
named W. He is so interested in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a
great guy. He came to conference
and loved it. He is really willing to change his life. I love that he
has decided to listen to us. He is so awesome.
But
honestly this week the miracle that I saw was when I was on exchanges
with Elder Nelson!!!! We weren't finding anything at all. But that all
changed at about 4 in the afternoon. We were contacting and we contacted
this house and this sister walked out she was a little hesitant at
first. But that all changed she opened up really fast and she asked if
we knew a book that we could recommend to her and it just so happened
that I had the Book of Mormon in my hand and we said yes you can have
this one and then asked us for one for her daughter. Long story short
she is stinking prepared and she has a baptismal date for the 16th of
October!!!!
But
I want to share my thoughts about the conference this weekend. I was
blessed to receive many blessing but there was on that really struck me.
I had the question to know how I could know for myself if I have been
truly forgiven? Boy they really did hit that subject this weekend. I
loved how they really focused on our Heavenly Father and he loves us and
wants whats best for us, and that of course he has forgiven each and
everyone, he really wants what is best for us and wants us to be happy.
I
want you to know if I can go through something as hard as I had to, to
be here on this mission learning the things that I am learning, anyone
can do it. I have been able to learn from the hard times in my life and
be able to grow and be even better. I know that the Lord loves me and
all of us. I know that from the mistakes that we make that we will be
forgiven. I know that we all have those extra chances in life to be
better than we are. Do worry about what happened in the Past focus on
the future and you will see the blessings. I love you all so much and
miss you tons.
One
video that I came to love is about a man who made some mistakes in his
life but he changed his life around and he is happy now.
